I arrived in Dover in 1997 as an aircraft electrician in the USAF. I immediately purchased a 4 unit apartment building with a VA loan. My wife and I lived in one unit and rented out the other three. Shortly after that, and still while on active duty, I purchased another home. I was hooked and started building a rental portfolio of over 100 units. I still to this day love buying rental property.
I obtained my real estate license in 2000. I started selling new construction and my career took off. Eleven years later, and after hundreds of happy clients I am still a full time Realtor. I work hard to represent the best interest of my clients.
I have four rules I follow with clients:
1. If I wouldn't buy the home or recommend it to a family member I won't recommend it to you.
2. I negotiate as if it were my money on the table.
3. I will always be honest about house values.
4. The client is always more important than the commission.

"We called Jim 6-12 months out from when we were ready to buy a house for the first time and he invited us to his office to talk about what we were looking for and to show us some properties.
